Pinoy athletes win 10 medals in lawn bowling tourney

The 13-man Philippine Team brought home 10medals after a successful stint in recently concluded 7th Asian Lawn Bowls Championship held in Zhenzhen, China.
The bowlers have just returned to Manila over the weekend, bringing home two gold medals, two silvers and six bronze medals from ten lawn bowling categories.
The athletes are now preparing for another international competition in December in Hong Kong Classic.
Should they come out successful in the Asia Pacific Championship in Kuala Lumpung, Malaysia in August next year, they will compete in the World Championship slated in Australia in 2012.-abs-cbnnews.com
